I have a 1993 UrS4 with those black rubbery, plastic trim strips along the length of the lower side of the vehicle. One has fallen off, the others show signs of being weakly attached. What is causing this to fail? There seems to be a white plastic catch attached to the car body which fits into a kind of channel and holds the strips on. The very short section on the drivers side front between door and wheel well is missing totally. How to remedy?

You will need to order these from a dealer or Genuine Volkswagen Audi Parts (GVAP) Miramar Audi in San Diego's on line service OR get lucky and find good used ones (same as the 92-94 Audi 100).
