Boost Gauge Needle Bouncing At High Boost
So guess my car has sort of always been this way. But when I go WOT 3rd or 4th gears and I am up around 25-26 PSI..the boost gauge needle bounces rapidly 1-2 PSI. Wondering if this is normal or if it is something like wastegate creep or WGFV funkyness? My BPV is a Hyperboost with the pressure hitting the "side" of the piston.

Different N75s actuate at different frequencies. You could try one of the better ones?
I forget which one's the best. There's a site somewhere that says.
Not sure what else it could be...

I ran a MBC for a while.
They're no good. Yes, boost came on stronger and earlier, but it was risky. And, it tended to spike a lot. A nice electronic boost controller might help, but I think good software an a nice VMAP do it best.

did you check the bpv for leaks?
my car was doing the same thing.... turned out the forge DV was leaking at around 23-24 psi.
got a free rebuild kit from forge and all was good after that.

Sigh ... the diagram is for an MBC in PARALLEL with the WasteGate - it will not boost higher
This method only allows clamping the boost below the peak as set by the ECU-boostcontroller through the N75 wastegate controller.
It is not possible to increase final boost with this method.
I would not recommend using an MBC only, since it only allows setting the maximum boost. Using an EBC such Apexi AVC-R is a much better solution if you want to get around the N75 completely.
