My Hyperboost with a cone filter sounded like a loud BOV. That was on my 3B 20VT...

Shouldnt make a difference.

When you're making boost or getting rid of it on shifts? That thing

should sound sillllly on shifts with an open air intake. Of course you're not going to hear it when you're "making boost," it's only when you let your right foot off that gas pedal at 16psi that it goes to work

I told him it should be definately audible. He begs to differ...

My hyperboost sounded like a crack of a whip everytime I left off with an CAI (Cone Air Intake)

Doesnt fit stock location (Its alot larger)

But there are other aftermarket DV's out there like Bailey, Forge, Stratosphere etc. etc.
