Default Can no outside temp sensor lead to quick demise of O2 Sensor?

Just wondering if there are any adverse effects of having a screwed up outside temp sensor.

I know that the air conditioning won't run if it reads too low (my reads negative when it rains).

Also, what are the symptoms of a bad o2 sensor?

I don't think there is any inter-connection. The air temp the computer sees is at the throttle body

No. It just connects to the climate control.

Default ah, okay. Will a faulty O2 sensor make the idle really rough?

Car is stinky like rotten eggs. After high boost run, the car hesitates, and idles very roughly.

sometimes during the same drive, the car will return to being normal, and idle fine, and drive smoothly to redline. But if I dip into the boost again, the same symptoms come back.

My O2 sensor is fairly new, well 30K mile new.

Default 30 k miles isn't "new". Change it. If not, its the POS (or coils, or plug connectors, or plugs,...

or ISV or bad fuel or.....

You know the drill.

Default true. the Forum Archives are proving vague, but useful in my situation.

I'm really hoping it's the POS...if not, then i'll swap out O2 Sensor...then MAF...gah.
