Default Car won't start, hazard button light blinking...

I believe I'm having trouble with the S4's security system. Intermittently, it won't start. I turn the key, all the dash lights are lit up beautifully, but nothing happens when I try the starter. When I get out of the car, the alarm goes off. I can use the key to turn it back off, but the car still won't start. I believe it has been immobilized by the alarm.

So, I rip up the back seat, disconnect the battery, reconnect and everything works fine, for about a week or three. This has been going on for about 3 months.

I had replaced the battery with a Spiral Cell but I beleieve that this problem was the reason for replacing the battery in the first place.

Possible quick and easy fix - ignition switch.

Default The ignition switch has been a little fussy...

I have to Jiggle and goof with the steering wheel sometimes to get it to turn.

Have you had a similar experience with the switch?

They are all crap. Any time you have electrical gremlins, change the switch first.

I'll do that. I sure feel like it has something to do with the alarm system.
