CD Changer Problem
Hi, the CD changer in my 96 S6 is not functioning. I get CD 00 ERR displayed on my head unit. There does not appear to be power going to the CD changer as it will not eject the magazine either. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I had this happen once. I didn't get the error code; my display just kept cycling through the CDs, yet none would play. Also I was unable to eject the CDs. Not sure if it'll work for you but I just removed the carpeted shell cover (yours may not have one), removed the wire harness supplying the power on the lower left side I think (I also dismounted the changer, but it didn't turn out to be necessary). Resupplied the power and then I was able to eject the magazine.
Turned out the #10 CD was jammed (the magazine has a smaller slot on #10 than the rest for some reason). Had to destroy the CD to get it out, but upon reintroducing it without #10, have not had a problem since.
