Hi,

I've been searching the forums for my problem, but couldn't find anything related. The system didn't work when I bought the car. I removed an aftermarket alarm system which was connected to it, but that didn't alter the situation. The car didn't come with the original IR alarm/central locking system.
I can't engage central locking to open/close from either door locks on driver/passenger/trunk (avant), the back doors won't open/close either.
The dealer doesn't want to help on this, so it's up to us now..
According to the dealer there's a constant on/off signal to the driver doorlock.
I checked the pump in another Audi and it works flawless.
Dealer checked vacuum lines which are good.
How can I proceed to come to the origin of the problem.
