I have a 1992 Audi S4. The clutch pedal broke and I have looked everywhere for a replacement. The clutch pedal has 4A1 721 323 A stamped on. I have been everywhere on line with no luck. Any ideas.

Wrong PN. You should be looking for 4A1721315.

You will not find this part at those online sellers that only deal in aftermarket parts. The Audi dealers that sell parts online is the best source.

Is there a procedure to the removal/installation of the new pedal? Removing was fairly easy because it was broken. Installation is going to be another story especially with regard to assembly to the master cylinder.

Bill: What Tom (scarman) means is something like Genuine VW Audi Parts in San Diego or Sunset in Portland. (Aren't you near Seattle?) Anyway here is the result of a search at GVAP: (Hopefully the link works). (I bought one from them in Nov. (for less money)):
