Default Completed 1.8T coil conversion and suspension overhaul

Did the coil conversion.. the car is running smoother than ever..

Also used last weekend to change most of the rubber ++ in the front:
2 x front/2 x rear yellow Koni
2 x front/2 x rear springs
2 x new control arms complete with new bushings (inner and outer)
2 x inner stabilizer bushings
2 x front/2 x rear subframe
2 x engine mounts
2 x transmission mounts
2 x outer CV boot kits

Car handles bettter than new now even if I didn't go the lowered suspension route.. (because of the bad roads here..)

Default How did your Trans and Engine Mounts look?

I have all of what you mentioned ready to go on my car except the trans and engine mounts, and wonder if I should just do those as well.

Was the 1.8t coil conversion a DIY and, if so, how did it go?

Yes DIY, followed your description in the coil conversion document and used Volvo connectors.

Good for you. 115L or 115R coil packs?

Default I hope you pointed No. 5 to the front of the engine. (And looped the...

wires around like I did). Pointing them at the firewall seems to induce more heat into them (maybe through the wires touching the cam cover), causing premature failure. (3 cases so far - all no. 5).

On an unrelated note: I think your car is an automatck (IIRC). What are the letters following the ECU part No.? "AA"?

Default I did. The layout is exactly like yours.

Yes it's an autotranny. Completely stock. Where do I find that number?
