So it's a Stroker with 100 Octane - right ? A/R was 0.82 or 1.02 ?

Default Point was : it is not a stock engine

"Stroker" is like slang and is also used to refer to engines with wider bore &/or longer stroke. Bore of this engine is 83mm = 2.3L if I read correctly

Stroker = motor with greater stroke. Built motor = internally beefed/modified.

Default Then, just for you : "it's a built motor with non-stock internals"

Like I said, "stroker" is already slang for both.

Either way it's larger than stock.

Default Just not sure why anyone would call a non-stroked motor a stroker.

A stroker motor is very common in these setups, and to generically label any modified motor as such only confuses things. I've never once heard anyone call a built motor a 'stroker', unless it was indeed carrying a different crank.

Anyone else??

Default It's a new one on me, too.

Built or bored over for bigger pistons, stroked or stroker for increased stroke.

Stroker Ace for a really bad Burt Reynolds film.
