I have all the information about the upgrade and plan to do it this winter, but I have switched back to the stock wheels with winter tires, so I am wondering if I should wait until I switch back and then find some bigger winters for next year.

Ah, crap. It doesn't work as well unless there's a fix needed.

Oh, well. There is a ton of archived info on BBKs and wheel fitment.

My car last winter (no spacer and OE 16" AVUS)...

I have Big Reds behind 18 inch Avus wheels. No spacers. The OE 16 inch Avus wheels would not fit over the big reds.

Default Then why do the OE 16" AVUS fit over my Porsche Big Reds??? DURRRRRRRRRRR!!!
The brakes obviously fit behind mine without a spacer.
