Call me nust but I preferred my S-car with just a chip better. The engine in the RS4 is great but I was expecting way more out of it. Its lacked that TQ punch and just might say boring, all the way up to 8,000 RPM. I also felt like I was in a less quality car that was very cramped inside. Of course the sound of the car and the breaks that will rip your eyes out were some redeeming qualities but right after I drove it I jumped in my S6 and honestly thought I wouldn't want to trade. I'm sure many will call my nuts but this is just my personal opinion.

Agreed...naturally aspirated S and RS cars should not exist. I drove one of the V8 S cars and was unimpressed. It was too easy and boring. I did get to drive a loaner A6 with the supercharged 3 liter though and was quite impressed. I haven't had the opportunity to drive one of the new S4s. I'm real excited for some of the TDIs that could be headed our way though. The larger displacement TDI A4 posts something like a 6sec 0-60 time...nice.
