I am considering buying the entire Euro headlight assembly with bulbs $$$, or just trying to remove the US lense clips and glue per the S4 site and putting the euro lenses on. Any advice? someone stated that the euro lense Low beam section is not much of an improvement but high beams were? is that true? what is the maximum bulb wattage that I can get away with without changing wiring harness? will the euro lense give me the chance to put in higher wattage bulbs or are they the same tolerance as the US DOT lenses? My low beams are very poor right now , 95 S6 , high beams are good in my opinion stock.

The DOT assemblies are a plastic reflector, higher wattage bulbs even with an upgraded harness will melt these. I've considered doing just the Euro lense, upgrade the wiring harness, and use Hella optilux +50% bulbs. Same wattage as stock but have more light output since they're xenon charged. Check out www.rallylights.com for bulbs. HTH.
