EVO question? Is it normal to see black smoke after every upshift?

I cannot wait for RS2 stuff. No longer do I think EVO's are super quick.

from what i understand if you do not follow the breakin procedure to the "T" and get on it hard earlly the rings dont seat and they eat oil adn eat it fast.
i have almost 220k on my s4 and it barly eats oil, good ole germans.

he was probably running an atmospheric venting blow-off valve. or his tune is very rich. the blow-off valve causes a rich condition between shifts.

kid probably had a half *** boost/fuel controller and didnt know what he was doing. UNless you were on the highway and that evo was running on 3 cylinders i dont know how it couldnt of beat you.
