Default Going to change all fluids, can i get some help on the tranny/diff capacity?

On my auto 5000 there was a tranny and a final drive.

From what i understand on the S4 there is a front diff, rear diff, and the tranny, im going redline MT-90 for tranny and 75W90 for differentials, am i missing a fluid or are those 3 areas it? how much fluid ill need would really help thanks guys.

Default Tranny = 3QTs Diff = 2QTs

very important: remove the fill plug first before drain.

here's what I did: there is a drain plug on the bottom of the tranny and a fill on the side (driver side) that takes 3 QTs.. there is also a drain right above and in between the CATS but not sure where the fill for that so I never bothered - if that's what you meant the center.. Then of course, the rear which takes 2QT.. That's all I did..

I was pretty sure there was the front and rear diffs and then the tranny and that was it, if that front diff is too hard to get to i guess ill do what you did thanks again bro.

Default I believe there is two drains on the tranny but only one fill.

If not I guess my tranny would be toast by now since I have driven 20k since servicing it and I removed both drains.

Default Oh is it all one fluid?? if i had a bently im sure it would specify but Anarchy verifies there being

One common fluid it sounds like. So if i drain both plugs, fill it up with MT-90, and drain the rear diff and fill it up with 75W90 That would be correct?? now im really confused :S

Quick Reply: Going to change all fluids, can i get some help on the tranny/diff capacity?
