OK, need new tires. I know this is not the tire forum but I figure that tires might wear differently on different cars. I live in Sacramento/Davis. Up in Tahoe a lot during winter. Don't want dedicated snows yet. Currently have Pilot xgt vr4s. Thought I might get the same, but I've heard a lot about the Continental Extreme Contacts and some about the Kumhos. I'm not an overly aggressive driver. Would prefer good wet and snow performance over dry. So, any suggestions?

These tires were top rated by Consumer Reports for all-season performance tires. The cost is great as well. I paid $104 ea from Discount Tire for 235/45-17s for my wife's A6 4.2. She likes the turn-in and wet performance.
