The only thing that has been somewhat proven is rods fold at 400-450
and even that can be disputed with it happening extremely infrequently. Our forged internals are just fine for most aplications. Now maxing out the stock setup has still yet to be done as shown by numerous people on motorgeek and in finland and sweden. For example 400 whp on a bone stock aan done twice now.
