Default no. haven't even seen it.

the biggest pain in the *** of the whole procedure was in the front left corner, fishing that wire next to the windshield is near impossible. luckily i have an a-pillar boost gauge, so i just ran the wire behind it, and noone can see the sloppy corner-cutting i had to do.

also a nifty little trick you can do to keep the wire in the headliner -- take some masking tape, and roll a cylinder, sticky-side-out. make it small enough to squeeze between the glass and the headliner, but big enough not to fall out.

Default Re: no. haven't even seen it.

also, if you gently pull on the front of the headliner (by the windshield), you can feel it come down a little. I tucked the wires up there, put the extra stuff on top of the panel with the control for the moon roof and had the wire exit the headliner by the windshield. These cars are nice because the V1 fits almost perfectly above the rearview mirror and below the headliner (mine does anyways.)

Default I'm scared that mouting it there, above the rearview, will block the rear sensor on the V1

Have u had trouble with that?
and if you look at that tech article on hardwiring a v1, its super easy to do. took about 30 minutes to hook it up and looks great.
