How can I test my BPV to make sure it's working correctly?......

My full Samco hose kit came today.....thanks Audifans and ECS........and since I'm going to have easy access to my BPV I want to make sure it's working correctly. It's pretty loud lately when I'm shifting. TIA

visually and by thumb i couldn't notice any difference between old and new. the difference was the noise(sound) that was gone. good BPV should not have any sound. that's a pity, i liked that sound

A leaky BPV will have a sort of moaning sound as it leaks pressure. A good BPV...like my Hyperboost Adj. makes signifcant sound upon opening after each gear change or coming off of the boost. But this is DUE to the fact of my open air intake doesnt hide any sounds from the BPV or turbo like the stock (and perfectly suffcient) airbox does
