How does one remove the rear seat backs? I found the bottom screws, but something still seems...

to be holding the seat back at the top.

Two hooks. Pull up.

May need to remove rear deck. Can't recall.

The rear deck can stay in place. Pull from the bottom of the seat as suggested.

BTDT! Remove the rear headrests and then remove the white pieces that the headrests mount in....

Once the headrests, lower screws and headrest mounts are out, the seatback slides up and out(and is a PITA to get back in) You need to remove the carpet from the opposite side of the seatback (trunk side) to access the headrest mounts. I spent 2 days re-wiring my car for a rather killer stereo system, and I completely removed the rear seats and front door panels, as well as other pieces of trim, as part of the process. I now know how to disassemble and reassemble most of an UrS car interior (or the 100/a6 for that matter)
