how much coolant do i need?

I'm doing the thermostat and i want to flush the system as well....green out/blue in
After draining the green can i just add water until it comes out clean and then add the blue stuff? good enough?

After flush, use %50 DI (distilled) water + %50 blue coolant. My '92 owners manual indicates approx

9.5L coolant capacity. Audiworld model guide says 9L.
