Default How to reduce turbo lag?

Can you guys comment on those ideas? I have a minor case of turbo lag. It's just annoying but it may be normal. I'm new with my car and don't know exactly what to expect.

-check and tighten spark plugs if necessary
-clean or replace after marked diverter valve with oem one
-check turbo for play and replace if necessary
-change wastegate spring for stiffer one?
-change wastegate diaphragm.

I just have a feeling my car can do better then she does. I recall she had less lag a month ago but the difference is a matter of degrees.

Default Cats?

Pluged cats can cause some extra back pressure that may lead to slower spool up..

Default Not really any of those things are likely the culprit.

I'd check your hoses on the air intact tract, first. MAF to turbo hose a lot of times will rip or crack from age.

Default Does it still make full power in the upper rpms?

are you sure the hose hasn't come off the moisture trap?
