Default I almost lost my S4 today

Rear passenger tire came apart at highway speed today. I havn't took a good look at the tire yet but I am quite certain it lost it's sidewall. Tire was properly inflated, a P-Zero Nero m/s with maybe 20k on it. Of course the wheel is toast as well.

Tire let go on a gradual right hand turn at about 110km/h. The back end tried to come around but with some creative braking/swearing/steering I was able to keep a fairly straight line. Scared the hell out of me though. Add a new sets of rims/tires to everything else I have bought this month and my savings are down for the count. Full RS2 setup, big blacks and an Apikol. Now new tires and rims heh. Good thing I can work all the overtime I want..........................

Default I tossed the rim in a dumpster already heh......

It was trashed. Everything in the rear suspension looks ok.... I was scared of bent sway links or torn brake lines.

I am going through Edmonton sometime tomorrow afternoon and I'll be back through again around the tenth or so. Want me to give you a call? We could get a beer or something. I'd love to see your new S

Default yeah, rim and tire were toast

I got home, made a couple calls and had it trailered into town. I pulled the tire and the inner sidewall was torn almost all the way around, there was maybe ten inches left intact. The wheel has two major flat spots...... it's done too. Right now I have my brother in law's winter rims on lol. 15inch stockers from the A4 I sold him. I said I'd put some winter rubber on when I am south if I could use the wheels. I have a wedding to attend in Sask on the weekend.

Anyway I should be in Ed. sometime mid afternoon. I'll call your cell and see whats up

I ALMOST bought those. Had the Rossos on my V70R. I liked them.
