i was under the hood today changing the oil and v-belt. all was going smoothly, fresh belt, oil, and filter. i was finishing up putting things back together when my roommate came out to see how things were going. i turned away to put all the tools back and before i knew it, he shut the hood. slight problem now since i had one piece to put back...the hood release cable! any ideas on how to release the hood or get under there to reattach the cable? i'm in need of some help here.

To release it, you need the belly pan off, a flashlight, a long rod or hook and luck. Bon Chance.

took about 40 min, a jack and stands, and two coat hangers, but all is well. thanks for the pointers
