I must have run through some white paint--it's all over my tires, wheel wells and all down the side of my car. Any suggestions for removing it?

enough dirt and/or wax on your paint that the white paint hasn't actually bonded with your paint (yet).
Pressure wash the car and then try the solvent/Goof-on with a soft cloth.

When's the last time you waxed the car and how good is the paint? If it's nicw paint, I would bring it to a detailer or a body shop. If the paint is so so, try and get it of with some light solvents like Dave said. But be careful. I have permanent marks in my roof from sap remover. Good luck : )

I am sorry to tell you... If it was Epoxy road striping paint you will NEVER get it off. You will need a new paint job. If its water based you will be fine washing it off. I think I can help you with this though. I used to stripe roads before I started at the Airport.... First I need to know a few things...
1. Was there any road striping going on where you were driving today?
2. If so, were there any signs stating "Caution Wet paint" etc?
3. Find out if it is epoxy. (Wont come off)
4. If so, then contact the city you were in and ask who was doing the striping (road painting).
Contact what ever company was doing the striping and get yourself a new paint job... (This doesnt mean to go drive through wet paint everyone... As they will look into it and see who was in the wrong)
We had to buy at least 20 new paint jobs every summer when I was with this company. If you do get a new paint job, you can thank me later![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I didn't see any painting being done but I did drive through a construction site. Since I have 800# springs in my car Iam very observant of the road ahead of me and was suprised to see the paint when I got to work. And there was a lot of it too. It looks like I went bogging
