Default was it right after startup and went away after a few seconds, or did it continue?

either way, it's the lifters, if it's the former, the lifters just became de-pressurized from sitting, but if it's the latter, it's a result of low oil level and the lifters not being able to re-pressurize, allowing the clicking to continue.

could also be too heavy an oil in a cold climate, but I don't think it's been that cold lately anywhere in our hemisphere for that really to be a factor, has it?

Default the oil level is ok and seem the sound didn't go away..

My friend told me to drive a car for a few days.he said the lifters could probably de-pressurize from sitting as you mentioned.

Default your friend is right, although the sound ought to go away after a few minutes if the oil level is OK

what weight oil is it? How old is the oil in the crankcase?

Default Good call. I had one separate at the base, sounded JUST like a lifter tick.

The POS plug only had 1K on it too. I always meant to send it back to Bosch, but never got around to it..
