I need a part number for the circled part in this picture... (CEL and idle Troubleshooting)
It's a valve that sits right behind the ISV and I circled it in white in the pic:

Better yet, if anyone has one for sale let me know
I broke the hose fitting off it when I did my cylinder head job and as a temporary fix I epoxied it back on. Since then it's been causing a CEL because my fix sucked. I need to replace it.
I'm also chasing an idle problem (car idles at 1200rpm once warm) I'd like to eliminate that valve as a problem first and then clean out the ISV to see if it fixes the idle problem.
Other than that the car runs perfectly smooth and pulls hard to redline. Boost peaks properly at 22psi at WOT

I broke that part too, but my epoxy has been holding fine...
Light blue in color? It's the evap purge valve. You could try just bypassing it to see if the idle problem goes away.

If you don't mind used. E-mail John Marconni on the 80/90 forum.
He parts 90 20v's and CQ's. The EGR valve on all the 20v's are the same. I'm sure you could get it cheap from him. This isn't a part you want to spend tons a money on as it's not really going effect performance and it either works or it doesn't.

Just to avoid confusion -- that's not the EGR valve. It's the canister purge valve.
There are no Audi I5s with Exhaust Gas Recirculation AFAIK.
Evaporative emissions system = suck fuel tank fumes stored in charcoal canister into intake to burn them off.
EGR = suck exhaust gas into intake to lower NOX emissions by reducing combustion temperature.
That being said, both systems involve ECU controlled vacuum solenoids and they might be fungible.

Yep, I know what it is, made a mistake on the name.
Some Cali '91 7A 20v's have EGR valves. Go to Motorgeek and look at pics of a '91 Derek was parting. There's some pics of the EGR valve and associated bits. Same goes for the late ABH engine, an EGR system was fitted. Again, very rare.
