with your lovely bling work. What might have happened that if you were messing with the wires and/or removed the coils from the coil pack holder (the "20v turbo" bit), there could be a broken wire and/or a bad ground, etc. Borrowing a good coil pack would be the easiest way to confirm the problem. Otherwise, you have to test the coils one at a time. There was a procedure posted just the other day on Audifans S-car list.

I've had all the ignition issues with our vehicles except for plugs. I would hedge a bet on a coil. Buy a cheap spark tester, pull your coils off, one by one insert the spark tester in each coil while cranking the car over. A bad coil will show up as a weak spark (yellowy orange) where as the good coils will show up as a white blue spark. Just a note: the spark tester will not actually click right in to the coil boot but try and push it as far down as possible. A weak coil will show up very easily because of the spark having to jump 2 gaps.
BTW Emre, your posts suck.

I had this same problem recently.: replaced all the plugs, connectors, and the #5 coil pack. Still hesitated/stumbled. Then, following relentless advice on this forum, I got set up to pressure test the intake system. But when going over all the hoses, I discovered the turbo outlet hose clamp had slipped slightly; that's where the boost was going. Once, corrected, engine ran fine. My lesson: check and/or pressure test the hoses/lines first.
