Default Input on second IAT test...

it is about 93 degrees out and the chart at s2central linked in the FAQ says my reading for the IAT should be right around 550 ohms. It does go there but occasionally will go nuts and jump way up high. Anyone ever see this behavior? Shouldnt the resistance stay constant?

Default I don't know but that sounds like what is happening with my IAT..

I get the CEL and code 2322 when I pull them. The CEL is intermittent, it comes and goes but does so frequently. It is constantly blinking on for several seconds then blinking out which kinda falls in line with what your test results show.

I have yet to test mine with a DMM, though I may some morning this week when my car is cold.

Funny thing is that it has been throwing the CEL for a couple of months, yet my mileage has just taken a hard hit, which is why I am probably just going to order a new IAT this week. I cleaned it about a month ago with no effect.

Default I tried cleaning last time with no results as well. I tested at the pinouts as well as the resistor.

The pinouts were giving the occasionally high jump in reading, sometimes really high, and the resistor did it slightly more often the the pinouts. The last time I checked it I just did it for a sec. to see the reading, for some reason (boredom) I decided to just watch it for a sec and numbers would just randonly jump high and then come back down. I do get the blink of a check engine light every so often and it is the overboost code. From my research on this I could have found the culprit but am looking for the pros advice on it.

Default WVUrS6... Can you test your IAT and see if it is jumping around like that? Can anyone test a known

good IAT? If this comes down to an answer it would be a good one to add to the IAT testing in the FAQ.

Default Yours is good. I cleaned all of my contacts on my sensors and ecu and that seems to have helped a

little. I am now thinking that it may be a weak coil. Going to have to get one of the spark tools so I can see the spark.
