intermittent low or no boost
Wish I had a boost gauge to tell for sure. Very intermittently (like 3 times in my first 500 miles) I would get on the gas and have very little or no boost. Doesn't miss or hesitate - just seems like a normally aspirated car. Have gone through and tightened clamps. Does this sound like a boost leak?
Also, when I have plenty of boost and I'm on it for 15-30 secs, I get a really strong smell of exhaust - kind of rich smelling, but not like unburnt gasoline. Can't see smoke in the rearview mirror or anything. Is that normal?

I would check the connection at the moisture trap, make sure the hose is on tight, mine would loosen
there and appear on when it was "leaking", also
check where that boost line is tapped in at the
back of the engine, could be leaking at the flex joint.
