the back passanger side is where the rubber plug is isn't it?I put a layer of RTV silicone the whole way around my gasket, and the plugs.

I reused mine, afer fixing a small leak at the rear of the head. The leak often comes around the half-moon shaped plugs. The trick, from my mechanic friend, is to put plenty of silicone on top of those plugs and in the plug recesses. Also make sure the gasket doesn't shift in its recesses as you put the cover in place prior to torqueing the bolts. My cover is dry and tight now.
