Default this just in rs2 injectors will not support anywhere near 400 whp

80% duty cycle at 4k rpm on 30psi with a 3071gt

completely inadequate no matter what fuel pressure. We were experimenting on saturday on the dyno and thats what the logs showed.

Default I am still running them...with a Bosch 044 Fuel Pump and 4 BAR FPR (Adj)...

Mihnea has had to lean out the mixture as my Wideband was in the high 10's and 11's before under WOT.

But I do need to get to the dyno again to really see what it will do.

Default then that dyno is extremely happy its literally mathmatically and physically impossible

to support that hp on those they turn into fountains and are completely maxed out duty cycle wise. 400 crank hp maybe no where near 400 whp thats with two extremely reputable rally tuners present at the time of experimentation laughing at the logs

Default we also threw a 4 bar and 5 bar fpr in just to see if it would make a difference

the 5 bar made it a tad bit safe but still 80-100% duty cycle = unsafe and asking to blow up.

Default Which Fuel Pump are your running BTW? I can tell you the stock Fuel Pump..

runs out of steam...after 5K going WOT and fuel pressure would drop 20 PSI.

Default I'd have to agree

rs2's are what, 37#/hr?

No WAY you are going to get 400whp with that size injector, especially with the ~10% ethanol mix fuel's we are getting these days (requires more fuel to hit the same lambda values).

Nick, think 60#ers....

hang in there, plug n' play 034 coming soon..

Default yeah, 42 #ers will do at high base fuel pressure

but if you're going to upgrade to bigger injectors, why go just a 'wee bigger'.

60 lb injectors are available in high impedance and flow a small enough volume of fuel at low duty cycle to be acceptable for 'civilized' idle followed by stupid amounts of power at max duty cycle. Same price as the 42's also.

Default Ya..would like to go to larger injectors 'someday' but right now..she is running just dandy ;)

Dont want to retune...'again' and the 42 lb/hr at a 60 PSI base Fuel Pressure w/ Vac seem to be ok with my set-up at 5500 feet in alt.

Quick Reply: this just in rs2 injectors will not support anywhere near 400 whp
