Default Just some info for people who are scared to remove the dash.

I had no idea how hard it would be but it turned out to be really easy. Three wiring connectors need to be disconnected in the passenger kick panel. Two screws need to be removed to release the fuse panel. 4 bolts (IIRC) to remove the knee bolster, and then 8 bolts to remove the dash itself. The heating/cooling ducts come right out with it. Of course the center console needs to come out first.

Default the ducts come out with it? that must make it easier

there are alot of hard to reach bolts connecting the ducts in the pass. footwell, took a couple hours to remove a dash, glad to hear you found an easier route, **** we even pulled the blower out to make it easier
