My 92 S has the RS2 bits, but the exhaust is stock.
Dusted the B5 S4 off tonight and took it for a little spin. The car pulls well in the low RPMs, until, like the C5, heatsoak saps the power.
I'd Like to get a rough idea on how they compare. When my brother arrives in town, I may do some third and forth gear runs between the two.

The spool-up on the K03's is probably 1000 RPM sooner then an RS2..but with the very conservative stock programming..the the WG opens way early.
Add a full exhaust (including DP) and chip..then you have some competition.
