Default My engine has started running rough

When idling it will idle smooth for a second or two, then the revs will dip slightly and the car will shake a little, then the revs climb back up and it resumes smooth idle for another two seconds, and so on.

During acceleration it's usually fine, but this morning I find it hesitating a bit as I accelerate at low boost levels (maybe 1 psi only). It's hard to fully describe it, I suppose it's basically a small short loss of power.

In addition to that, the last time I filled the tank with fuel (just a couple days ago) I found the oil level was super low. This was a surprise, because I'm always checking and topping it up. I notice no spills or unusual leaks anywhere.

:-/

Default Second the Idle stabilization valve.

You can try cleaning it with carb cleaner. But it is usually a lost cause. Could be any number of things though.

Default Just got home, it's getting bad fast. Lots of stuttering and hesitation driving. WTF? POS then?

Could this be related to the fact that I can't produce much boost?

Damn it, I'm out of money. I can't fix it right now, I've already spent 2 grand on this car in the last month. :-(

Default if at idle and while driving then yes POS. other wise coil, leak in the line to the ECU or MAF?

if stumbles at idle, pull injectors one at a time and isolate cylinder. then swap the top and bottom connectors on the 2 POS and pull injectors again to see if stumble changes to different cylinder.

I have spare POS if you need

Default Yes, at idle too. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do what you just told me to do.

I'll give your instructions to my mechanic though and have him look at it this weekend.

Default No. You need to at least figure out which cylinder it is and disconnect that injector otherwise you

will be blowing raw unburnt fuel through the turbo and onto the cats, potentially overheating them and killing them. $$$$.

Link to the missing and hesitation diagnostic procedure
