bolts that hold the rear caliper to the caliper braket, 2 bolts. TIA......almost finished w/ my brake install.

I always tighten them until 2 veins pop out on my forehead. Ok, that's un-scientific. I'm not sure on those bolts exactly, but the Audi factory manual says 90 lbft on the carrier to strut bolts, and that's about 3 veins.

My buddy has been contemplating doing it, as well, but wanted to make sure the trick worked beforehand. What else have you done to your Quat?

I did do the bleeder reversal on a set of boxster calipers that I took off my A4 and put on my urS6. That worked fine. Looks like the same setup for the ST40 caliper but I didn't have to do it.
