Default New bucking problem, now it really feels like a brick wall...any insight greatly appreciated!!

Well the car took another turn for the worse. Now when im driving at low rpm in 1st or 2nd gear, the bucks once or twice(quickly) and then stops when i get past 3k rpm. This is under fairly light throttle, maybe a little less than normal. Another thing that just started happening a LOT more frequently is the car will start up and then just shut down. Turn the key, engine turns over, runs for a second, then shuts off, repeat process. Its really starting to scare me, the bucking jerks the car real hard as if you just stalled the car and at stoplights i have to feather the throttle just so the car stays alive, which is more of a preventive measure to save the embarrassment of having your car die while sitting next to someone. If i keep the rpm's at or around 1k, the car wont die, but as soon as i let it idle, it'll miss once or twice and then die. Its really frustrating, and I really dont have any clue where to start. Just replaced plugs and boots, valve cover gasket. Did POS check, it checked out. Could it possibly be a coil problem? Because after 3k I can boost at 5 psi just fine, but as soon as more fuel(or spark) is required, it cant keep up and starts missing. I cant stand it any longer, but I dont want to throw a bunch of money at it either. But if thats what it comes to, then so be it. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. Ill try to take video of the symptoms tomorrow. TIA

If you have no engine codes showing up, e.g. 2113=CPS, I suggest its your fuel pump or FPR.

Default Re-read your post. As far as I can see, you haven't checked the coils out. If you do want to ...

check them, go to the procedure below.

If you are going to go to a 1.8t coil pack conversion, make sure you get 115 R coil packs. I think Brendan at Apikol's kits have these. (But ask anyway).

AAN Missing and hesitation diagnostic procedure

Apikol's kits do indeed have the 115R coils.

Default That's a lot of money. I'd test the spark gap first, save ur money for a bigger turbo

Though it sounds like it may be an FPR
