Default Notcrapple or other CA people...

I'm thinking of importing a full rs2 spec 1993 into CA from Denver. Sounds very well maintained, has an FMIC and rs2 exhaust cam. I know your avant is pretty heavily modded. Any issues you had in getting it smogged. Owner provided me with recent smog check from CO but it seems to be using a different scale (GPM) and I just can't match the numbers here. So, is this a good idea? I really want the car. Car has new cat, just had a valve job, 134K. 2bennett said that the exhaust cam could pose a problem. Anyone else pass CA emissions with exhaust cam, full rs2 spec, etc.
It also has an IA sport turbo, which, from what I understand, spools up a little faster than normal rs2. I was hoping that it wouldn't spool too early and blow the 2500 rpm measurement. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Default I am taking my car to 2 Bennett tomorrow...

Gross Polluter on last test. GPM I beleive is a rolling test under load. The CA test can be under load or just idle and 2500rpm test for CO and HC. My car failed the 2500rpm CO, max is 1.00, mine 6.19. HC max @2500rpm 130, mine 226. My check engine light was on during the 2500rpm test. Going to try a new O2 sensor first. You might find out if they use the no load test as well as a rolling test. Cody? HTH, Charles
