Lets say my car is running very rich for some reason (we don't know why-let's assume the FPR has a leak in the vacuum hose so it is enriching the mix) and the ecu is getting a constant ~.700-.875v indicating a very rich condition. This will cause the ECU to go into open loop because it assumes that the O2 sensor is giving an implausible signal and the ECU will decide to ignore it-yes? Will fixing the problem and pulling the ecu fuse cause the ECU to reconsider the O2 sensors output?

on the FPR the voltage goes from about.875v to .200v. If I don't touch it it stays rich. The nipple is loose. but the voltmeter is registering and the O2 is newish.

FPR too, maybe. (My stock FPR is on a shelf in my garage, so this part is easy -- and I have new O-rings for the injectors also.) I'm around this weekend.
