UrS6. I am (finally) converting my four spoke steering wheel to three spoke sport (mit airbag). While do this, I am also changing the bulbs in the instrument cluster (1.2v to 2.0v) and changing the ignition switch.
I have an S6 cluster on the bench (for my 98 C4 A6 wagon) and comparing it to the UrS instrument cluster is eye-opening. The UrS4 has a "breadboard" and the UrS6 is a printed circuit board.
I wonder which is more reliable.

cluster as opposed to outside the cluster as in the 100/S4(I'm sure you know this already). This makes it harder to replace the buzzer as it is apart of the cluster in the A6/S6 cluster.
On another note. I just bought some 1.5W bulbs to replace my 2W bulbs in the 90. It seems as though the 2W's can cause problems with "burn through" on the overlays and make them look goofy. I've had them on my 100 for alteast the last 3 yrs so it may just be a problem on the B chasis clusters. I must say though, I really like the look of the 2W bulbs teamed with the red bulb covers on the 90q. It makes the cluster look a lot more red as apposed to amber. Take a look at my temp display retrofit project at the bottom for the pics. Hopefully these 1.5W's will give a good look as well.

1.5W Instrument Cluster bulbs

remove the door buzzer part by cutting the pin on the buzzer that controls this. This will leave the remaining radio and headlight portion intact.
