does that happen, yesterday i click lock from my remote, and it unlocks and honks and the lights go off, so i press it again and it locks does NOT honk, and the lights come on. i thought i was imagining things, so i stick the key in the lock, and turn to the right (lock position) and a force within the lock physicallly turns my hand away from the lock position, and back to the nutral state. so i turn it to the left, and the car stays unlocked, so i turn to the left again and it locks. at this point i feel like im in an episode of the twighlight zone. so i go inside the car, and press the lock and unlock switches, and nothing happens, all i hear is a sound that sounds like a cat meowing each time i press on the switch. i could use some help here fellas, i searched the forums with no prevail, and the owners manual doesnt talk about their "Reversed lock" feature.

die. Something about low voltage (less than 12 V) seems to mess up the locks and the sunroof controls. Sometimes this happens after someone has used their S-car to jump start a friend. (I just say "Sorry, but my electronics can't allow me to jump start your car. I will can call BCAA (AAA) for you on my car cell phone if you wish")
I suggest that you check the battery for water and voltage. One cell may be dry and/or dead. (And I don't mean "westing" either). While you have the rear seat out and are looking at the battery, make sure that you have proper Audi/VW battery with the vent tube and hose and the hose is there and draining through the bottom of the car.
