i have the same problem, i am testing something........
today i am testing something, remove the headlighs and the glass, clean with a special lubricant, install 75w with relays, i will give u the result tomorrow or after if u want

don't get liquid or solvent on the refelector, it will take the reflecting "spray" right off.
The reflector is plastic so the 75w could easily melt the reflector as well. I wouldn't go higher than 65w. The realaying is a good idea though.
