Overall I like my Centerforce clutch, but in one aspect it is grossly inferior to the stock unit...

It really stinks when it burns. It smells awful. The stock one smelled like roses in comparison.

Though I would describe the take off issue as a vagueness that wasn't there with the stock unit.
Nonetheless, the grabbing power of the CF is great. I never chirped second with the stock clutch...
*edit* I should have said, I didn't notice any negative effect on pedal feel -- it got a lot _lighter_.

When we went to replace it I found that it had plenty of meat left.
I had assumed that my rear main had leaked and soaked the clutch in oil and thus made it slip. But I guess it was a weak pressure plate.
