Without searching, the tire thread was bumped a couple of weeks ago, so it may be easy enough to find.

Edit:

Here you go:

Though, why? Certainly not my cup of tea.

I didn't see them on his wheel gallery

why: cheap, local, wide.

plus, I currently only have 205/60/15s on heavily corroded Brazilian made Mangels 15x6" wheels

it's TERRIBLE

IIRC Andre had those on his S car once?? If I could figure out how actually find something using the search function now, I'd try and find the pic for you. IIRC S-Fest 2006 or 2007 pics show him rollin on the plates and there should be s fest galleries somewhere..

Default I had them on my Type 44. They're obnoxiously heavy!! Don't do it!

But you're right. They're cheap and wide. So that might work for ya...

But you are concerned with braking. There is a huge difference between sprung and unsprung weight. Heavy wheels suck on any car.

I'm more concerned with brake mushiness... the wheels don't change the way the pedal feels

I like it a LOT

This thread is a train wreck. Who are you responding to? It looks like you keep responding to your own post.

Pedal feel alone is a lousy reason to drop big money on brakes.

Buy the lightest stongest 17 x 8 wheels you can find.
