Default Question about Oil Pressure sender

I might need the Oil Pressure Sender for 1993 S4 (AAN). ETKA brings it up as:

034 919 561

World has it for $168 BUT...

ETKA also has:

035 919 561 (Fap $61)
And
035 919 561A (Fap $58)

Anyone know if the 035s are equivalent? They're sure as hell cheaper. TIA.

Look at the details KATE provides, 034 = M16 x 1.5 threads, both 035 senders = M10 x 1

Default The 035 part has a different thread.

There are two oil pressure ports on the block -- one for a pressure switch and one for the can sender/switch. The can sender hole is quite a bit bigger (16mm maybe?). The 035 part is the smaller size. It will screw into the warning switch port for whatever that's worth.

You could find a plug from an S6 (which they used to fill up the hole where the S4 oil pressure sender was), and drill and tap that for the 035 part.

Marc S. did this <a href="http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=159012&sid=141e16e04276ce5b8db34ac 8b0262095#159012">and it was a big PITA.</a> That was with the 035919561A part on his S6.

Default Thank you, the main show stopper was the thread size.... i was just wondering

if the two parts were compatible and one was just an update. I DID see the AAR listing and thought perhpaps they would be physically the same. Guess not.
