Default Question: What size R Compound tire for the OEM 16" wheels. One of the tire calculators I'm using

indicates that 225-50-16 is too small??

Default Running R compounds at the track on the 16x8 wheel, I would go 245/45/16.

Same "size" as 225/50/16, just wider. Will fit fine on an 8" rim.
