What is a relatively inexpensive 6 speed tranny to swap into a UrS4? I'm assuming the 01E 300 045 G (EDU) out of a S4tt or an A6tt would be the easiest and most cost effective route to go?

Just blew *something* in the 1st and 2nd gears of my URS4 tonight, so looks like a centerforce and a 6 speed may be on the way (should funds allow).

If you want an upgrade with a much higher top end a FPP or FTT gearbox would be an option if you can get your hands on one.
It should give you well over 300 km/h top speed

4 Cylinder Turbo charged motor it put out 140KW. did you guys get any of A4's with a 6 speed box?

i think all of our 6speed A4s have a transverse layout though?

I dont know of any B5's with a 6 speed other than the S4

Not a single A4 has tranverse mounted engine. A3's, yes.
