Default Reference Photo: AAN MAF vs. RS2 MAF.

We know understand that they are electrically identical or very close. However, because of the inlet and outlet screen design, they flow very differently, i.e. the RS2 MAF, on the right, flows more than the AAN MAF on the left. Removing the AAN MAF metal screens increases the flow but leaves the turbulence that the screens (in both MAFs) are there to remove.

Link to MAF and MAF screen info in the FAQ

Exactly. (Vanes aren't very thin, though).

Default You could run a

velocity stack and smooth things out a bit but I haven't looked at the inside of the air box yet to see how much room there is.. (PO changed it just 3k before I recieved it)

But I did just change the oil and check the torque on the plugs..

It would be possible to find a VS in some of those cone filter common sold for "cold air" intakes.. We all know those take hot engine compartment air right and not actually cold air!!

Default 034 has a new MAF coming out for big turbo's...........

using your existing MAF. They CNC machine a larger pipe and use your existing MAF to get a 4" unit. That's what I'll be using.
