I know this maybe sacrilegious but for reasons of improved radio reception and the fact that I donâ€TMt care, Iâ€TMm thinking of taking off the perfectly applied window tint on my S6. Rather than just ripping it off is there a preferred method. Iâ€TMd hate to pull off my rear window defrosters.
Thanks,

With tinted windows, they tell you to not use amonia based cleaner. The stuff does a pretty good job of loosening up the film and cleaning off the glue. It also works best on a hot sunny day, just the kind of day you want to be inside an unmoving car...
Good luck.

the tint peeled right off. The bag is used to keep the amonia from drying. I used my mom's hairdryer to heat up the glass a little from the outside. Worked like a charm.
I did this to take the tints off my brother's 90 Quattro 20V. I hate those purple gangsta tints, altho i think they helped keep the leather in good condition despite the car's age.

metal and affects reception. With the windows open reception improves marginally. Short of drilling in an antenna I willing to try most anything. Plus I don't care for the distortion caused by any tint.
