RS2 Turbo Replica

RS2 Turbo Replica
034 Motorsports sells an RS2 replica turbo. Does anybody have any experience with it? How much do I sacrifice from the low rpm range? Is it worth the upgrade while keeping the rest of my 93 S4 totally stock?

My opinion is...
...that if you're going to go for RS2 kinds of airflow, then get a real RS2 turbo.
If you want to move the boost threshold lower in the RPM range, go with a GT2871.
A real RS2 will bolt up no problem in place of your stock turbo.
But you know it's not just the turbo that needs replacing, right? Injectors, exhaust manifold, software, at a minimum. Even the replica would require such things, plus a downpipe, and an exhaust manifold with the proper flanging, etc.
There is a LOT of experience here with turbos other than KKK - don't be afraid of a custom set-up.

Skollie is running an RS2 turbo on RS2 EM but with stock injectors and software (for now). He says
that it is quick enough (like a chipped car). Lag is probably greater than a stock K24 but top end is better. Not the normal "upgrade" and is only temporary (as I understand it). Skollie can add his own comments.

Adding an RS2 turbo and EM with nothing else will definitely offer gains
but not near as much as if you add proper software and injectors. I'd say RS2 turbo and EM alone puts you on par with a chipped car.

Oh, yes. THAT would be a sweet trade. For me.
Unfortuately, I would have to then sell it. The divorce would make funds tight, and I'm not giving up the S-car or the Mercedes.
